hey i got a wii black screen but what's odd about it is that i thought it was my wii av cable i bought a new one (with an s-video plug in) and it turns out i did need the s-video plug in to play it... and i'm wondering if i do have a semi-brick? cause i can acess my disc channel and wiiware games and stuff... but is there a way where i can go to recovery mode so where i can plug in my cables the normal way or not?

and also i have to use an rf moudler to play the game. maybe you should look into that 2 airman...

and why the **** did you remove cioscrops i think that makes your the king of noobs!!

Whatever an rf moudler is(even spelled right i wouldn't know), it wouldn't help. According to 30% of the posts in this thread, it's gone forever, because he deleted all the IOSs, which doesn't have to do with video output. It's like using a computer with no Windows/Linux(FTW)/Mac.

I'm pretty sure that's just from a joke I made forever ago which I'm still surprised to see popping up all the time.

It allows you to use the standard video cables with a tv that only has an RF cable input.

Ha! Ha! I read the thread a couple of moths ago while I was browsing your blog... SO funny that so many people got into it! YOu should always relate every problem w/ the wii to a demodulator!

For much Offtopic here but just close this thread or just remove this thread! I made a big wrong thing but i've learn me now! But i dosent know that it's affect the system files! Somebody must warn this before any others n00bs do this, like me! And i'm not a n00b if you guys think so be happy that somebody test remove the cIOSCORP and see was happend!

Are you kidding? It has already been stated many times that you should NEVER uninstall the IOS's to uninstall cIOSCORP, you have to overwrite them with the originals. It has also been stated that removing the IOS's WILL brick your Wii. From next time read, read, and read some more. By the way, did the store replace your Wii?

Warning? FFS you're the first one that has done it... I've probably seen "How do I uninstall cIOSCORP" like 30 times on these forums. A simple search would have probably saved you.

This thread is all epic kinds of funny. Shit, it should be stickied as a warning of what happens when you don't read/search/ask.

How long ago did you buy your Wii? I'm not even sure you'll be able to swap it out. I know a lot of retailers have the Serial number printed on the sales receipt, so it might not even be possible to buy one and return your old one in the box. Perhaps swapping out the internals? If that can be done without breaking any kind of seal.

I leave it to the store, yes, and of course, they gonna send it to Nintendo or i will get a new one! But can it happend that i get my old Wii back and they have insert 3.4? Well, i don't care about that, i know how to downgrade it and of course, i have look on the guides! But now have i learn me what happend (maybe) xD

Well, cIOSCORP is custom ios and the guys who have made this have change the codes in the ios's but it is still a ios, wii count it as a real ios! It replace the real one to the changed one! And the ios's is the system files of the Wii! And if i remove this things, so can this happend! Well, it's not easy like i think it was! Well, i dont read that much about Wii for i still go on school and have no time! Don't tell me you're a douche, I already known. OF COURSE CIOSCORP installs a new pack of IOSes that is cIOSed, thus, overwriting them.

You still haven't read more or don't understand English. I too go to school and have a life, but its simple as having 1 hour tops to search on a how-to remove CIOSCORP. Next time pal, read more before messing anything.
