So why haven't these keys "opened" up the PS4 scene? With private keys, a CFW should be possible, no?

Man, its bad cuz we cant do anything for that (at least for me, I am not a dev, I am student on medicine university :/ )

Old news is old. If those keys were in any way usable to get the master key (and with how modern encryption works, no, they are not) it would've been known for a long time.

It's just not 100% useful yet.

The latest pkgdec only extracts some (not all) of the files within the pkg.

8GB ZAT pkg extracts to 46mb.

I checked it out.

Seems to open parts of the PKG, but not all sections.

It only decrypts the RSA's sections not the PFS.

Apparently have to wait for SAMU (secure asset management unit: processor) to be exploited.

.. I thought flatz was on PFS recently....

Maybe some modchips can detect the keys..
