I have looked through all solutions and it just doesn't work.

My Ethernet port is fine when connecting via my brother's laptop.

I have done the whole ip release/renew, uninstalled the hardware etc virtually all solutions I could find on the internet. Still does not work.

Any ideas?

What is the configuration for your ethernet? If it is not set to "Obtain an IP address automatically", make sure the IP address and subnet mask is entered properly.

I have tried automatically and manually.

Connecting from a different access point through Ethernet works fine. But not when I connect directly from my router.

I have reset the router, updated firmware, reset all settings, unstalled my Ethernet adapter, installed it back, updated drivers.. virtually done everything possible and all solutions I could find.

No hardware fault that's for sure. For some reason it's simply not working. The wire connecting to anything else works fine, juet doesn't work on my computer
