Just want to let tempers know that I've uploaded a newly signed version of the homebrew classic, "Cave Story". For those of you that are not familiar with this game -- just play it. It's vastly better that most retail PSP games. You owe it to yourself to try it.

Is this a newer version, without the slight graphical glitches the first one had?

I mean yeah, they were very minor and didn't impact the game (like one item having the description text cut off and sprites vanishing too soon when walking away in cutscenes), but still.

I forgot which item it is specifically, but the text for one item is cut off.

In addition in cutscenes when a sprite would walk off the screen (for example Sue walking away after you kill Undead Core), it vanishes before it gets off the screen (since it's going for the border as if the game was 4:3).

i can't get the PPA to play any vids. on the details on the right pane it shows the video length 00:00 and etc. all in zeros.

It's not essential by any stretch of the imagination but i think it's worth a mention purely because today i got Dune 2 Battle For Arrakis working on my PSP....DOSBox. Yes it has a limited amout of usability, and unless you like DOS games you won't ever touch it, but it's great if you're going a bit retro.

i found a signed copy of (supposed to be) Boxhead 1.5 at endlessparadigm.

edit: i dunt think its rilly 1.5. i dont see any adhoc option.
fun game though, it's like some sorta Lego Zombie attack.

RE: Nethack. This one may well work. If not you may have to try eloader.

If you want to play those 1.50 homebrew on your 6.60 PSP, try out the (L)ME 1.8 CFW. It comes with LEDA.PRX that when enabled allows you to play most old games.
I tried out nethack and it works fine. Also happy to say i can finally play the Marathon ports on my PSP.
