+1 to MX video player. Seems to be the best video player for android anime wise, as it correctly displays embedded subtitles in mkv files - which lots of the other apps have problems with. Also works well on 720p non anime stuff, even though there were a few instances where manual tweaks were needed.
+1 to Comic Reader (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.blogspot.applications4android.comicreader&feature=search_result). There are a lot of comic strip readers out there, but this is the best one I've found because it has no BS, just straight up comics without ads, needing too many permissions, or stupid stuff like that. It just works, and works well.
Apologies to tehskull. I've only had my phone for like two weeks, so I keep finding new stuff
-1 for Superuser (even though it's required for root, it fails)
-1 for all task killers (unless you're below 2.0)

Robert Broglia's emulators (namely NES.emu, SNES9x EX, GBC.emu, PCE.emu, and MD.emu) because they're better than any of yongzh's offerings. Also, MD.emu plays Sega Master System games.
