Why did I update this thread instead of getting actual work done...?

Updated the list, and made some minor changes:
Amazon App Store -> Amazon Underground
Amazon Underground has the functionality of the Amazon Shopping App and the Amazon App Store rolled into one.

    SuperUser -> SuperSU
    SuperUser has ceased development.

If anyone sees some defunct apps in the list, or now irrelevant apps, please mention it in a post or PM. I'll snag it.

Man...it's been three years since my last post here (see below). Time to update things a bit...

    Apps:
-supersu: I...apparently haven't voted for this one before (note: perhaps I didn't use it back then)
-humble bundle: keeps track of all the purchases you've made through humble bundle. Also serves as a way to directly download and install android games, audio and ebooks (you'll need separate apps for the latter two)
-steam: not for actually playing steam games (awwww :( ), but for keeping track of the store, friends, progress, ... Everything but the actual steam gaming, in other words
-ebookdroid: I'm not 100% sure this is the best ebook reader out there, but thus far this reads everything readable I've thrown at it (ebooks, pdf, cbz) in a very decent way
-dr Moku: not for everyone, but those few among you interested in learning the Japanese alphabet: get this over the multitude of freemium ones: the memory aids make them all so much easier to remember (even to me, and I'm not a native English speaker)
-relax melodies: I started using this as background music when I massaged, but it doubles quite well outside of it: some sounds to play when you're stressed out or can't sleep.
-moonlight: admitted: I haven't used it as much as I intended, but this lets you play streamed steam games on your android device (probably works best with something like a gpd xd)

Games (note: you may need a tablet and/or beefy specs to run these properly)
-Simon Tatham's puzzles: a bunch of puzzles that are pretty deep if you take the time to know them (I'm addicted to 'loopy').
-lyne: perhaps the game best fitted for touchscreen: a connect-the-dots puzzle game. Seems retardedly simple at first, but the later levels (and it has LOOOOOOTS of levels) provide quite a challenge
-duet premium: abstract avoid-the-obstacle game. Phenomenal music
-Alto's adventure: an endless runner...or skier, in this case
-concrete jungle: a...tile laying city builder puzzle game is perhaps the best explanation
-mini metro: an abstract subway/train laying game. On a decent tablet it plays even better than its pc counterpart
-OK golf: a simple but incredibly addicting golf game. Only beef I have with it is that it DRAINS the battery
-ranch rush 2: the only ranch rush game on mobile, for some reason, but I'm a sucker for these "build your farm then harvest the sh** out of it as fast as possible" games
-slayaway camp: a puzzle game disguised as a slasher. It's great at both, but I wonder if I'm the only one who likes both genres mixed this way (you basically want to kill minecraft residents but for puzzle reasons you can't but move all the way to the next obstacle).
-a good snowman is hard to build: an adorable puzzle platformer where you have to build snowmans
-you must build a boat: a ridiculously hectic match gems game. Also: you must build a boat
-infinite loops and infinite loops: energy: relaxing tile laying puzzle game. For the spare moments of peace and calm
-carcassonne: the board game translates surprisingly well to android
    -splendor: same as previous
-ticket to ride: also same as previous two
-cook, serve, delicious: I'm not sure how the later levels handle, but the android port works surprisingly well
-Lara croft go: turn based puzzle game. In similar series (but to me kind of samey): hitman go and deus ex go.
-guild of dungeoneering: this munchkin/kingdom of loathing clone is pretty adorable. Worth it for even the music alone. :P
-hook: an abstract puzzle game where you have to untangle objects. Not that long, but worth the price of admission
-zenge and klocki: both relaxing puzzle games. The first one tells a story through beautiful pictures. The latter is more abstract and has you correcting tiles.
-pang adventures: a personal favorite. Works, though use traditional controls if possible
-super hexagon: a trippy attempt to survive as long as possible. The fact that the easiest setting is "hard" says something (it goes to something like "harderest")

That's it for now. I can just keep naming stuff, but I have to draw the line somewhere. Going by my previous mentions, it's clear that a new generation of games has been unleashed upon the world since then. :P

    Warning: Spoilers inside!
