Gaming eshop game save file

Title sucks, but any ways. I copied my SD card to my desktop then tried to transfer it back to a new card, but some of my data became corrupted. I had to redownload all my games. So my question is, can I use my save files from the original SD card, just so you know, I'm using the same 3DS, never formatted, just basically deleted my sd card and download everything again. If I can use the saves, where can I find a listing for the title ID's of my eshop games, so I know what folder to look for each game. If this is worded confusingly, I'll fix my question

why didn't you use the backup feature? they implemented that like early this year or sometime last year. if you still have the original sd card and the game loads the save properly then just back it up normally using the feature. highlight game and tap on the left arrow on bottom left of touch screen to back up
