Slight repost, I was told this thread may help me more

Hello everyone, I hate to make myself a burden as soon as I walk in the room, but here I am.

I am trying to get my New 3DS XL to play Majora's Mask in German through using the LumaLocaleSwitch. Everything was going good until I actually opened the game and was hit with a big fat error message.

I will take a picture and upload it after I am done typing.

I had updated the DS before starting, I had made sure to download the newest versions of both Luma and LumaLocaleSwitch, I thought everything was going well, but I guess this is how most people end of making an account on this forum, right?

I hope someone can help me out or at least tell me who could help me out, worse case scenario I shrug my shoulders and play in English, but I don't want to brick my device while I don't know what I am doing with it.

Thank you for reading and I hope someone has/can find an answer, screenshot will be attached to the post!

Are you sure this is something you should be able to do..? You won't be able to play in German if there's no German script in the game.

LumaLocaleSwtich is often needed just to get Majora's Mask to start at all.

In any case, what, exactly, are you doing with LumaLocaleSwitch? Please try to be as detailed as possible.

My understanding is that with LumaLocaleSwitch, you could change the region your device is located- it sounded to me like a VPN almost. I could set it to USA, EUR, JAP, and a few other regions I don't remember off the top of my head.

Anyways what I was specifically trying to do is simply play Majora's Mask in German. When I looked it up online it said German was an option to play in on the 3DS version but only if your region is set to EUR.

When I went through default game manual and checked the languages, German was not listed. There was only English, Spanish, and French, so you may be right. I may have to have an EUR copy of the game in order to play it in German- upsetting but understandable
