ROM Hack Question "Error: Section 0 is corrupted" despite full keyset?

Hi, I'm trying to unpack a dump of the new BlazBlue game, but it gives me an error when I try to unpack the big .nca from the secure directory. I am absolutely certain that I have a full Keyset, but I still get said error. Is this a known problem? Or could there be new, undumped keys?

EDIT: I just saw that HACTool can report which Master Key Version is required and it's Master Key 3.

EDIT 2: Apparently the hactool build I had didn't like the .nca. It worked fine with the latest official release.

there are only 3 things that could be wrong, either some keys are missing/incorrect, the dump is bad or you use the wrong command. I had no issue with this game and a full stack of keys.

But if it was a bad dump, wouldn't it tell me that there is a problem with the XCI when I get the NCA's from it? Commands I used are "hactool.exe -k keys.txt --romfsdir=romfs --exefsdir=exefs (nca).nca". Keyset is the one from maxconsole.

newer games require newer master keys dont think the guide is updated for newer keys though

I mentioned this in OP, hactool can tell you which masterkey revision is needed. It's revision 3 which has been out for a while.

I can try that, but isn't the default file input type for hactool nca? Also I'm curious, did you use the BBB Dump or a private dump?

Not sure about that, i always set the value to the format I want to extract. And I used the BBB dump.

OK I've tried manually setting the input type, still didn't work. However, now hactool is crashing everytime it tries to unpack the romfs.

definitely weird, i just extracted the file again (same filesize) and it worked like a charm. then I'm gonna stick to the keys part, as I'm not sure which keys are in the maxconsole dump.
