Hacking error ret -1 help!!

USB Loader (as in the Noob Guide you said you had read) - which allows you to run your games from a external hard drive or any USB storage solution. Which wads are already installed on your system (did someone else install them?) - do you have homebrew channel? Is your Wii hard or soft modded (that is is it using a chip or software to run backup games and/or homebrew)

yes i did read the noob guide and i've got to suggest adding error codes and how to fix them

i do not kno if it's soft or hard modded b/c i got it from game x change but i am the one who installed the wads i just went to wad manager and clicked install as another guide stated on a different site but then i found out you have to have other components to run them too thus the reason im here...... tried to install ios249 and ios70 and also a few others 222 223 250 and i still have the error message error ret -1...... oh yeah i also installed ios 60

Then being on 3.2 should not make any difference. Are you trying to run wads through wad manager 1.5 via The Homebrew Channel? Why are you trying to install IOS 60 and 70 - do you need The Shopping Channel or something similar? Is it just IOS wads you are trying to install and where are they located on your SD card?

i don't even want the shopping channel and i installed ios 60 and 70 cause every site i have gone through says i need them to run homebrew and i am in fact installing wads as channels

IOS 60 and 70 are for the system menu! 4.0/1 and 4.2 respectively - you certainly dont need them to run homebrew! So again which wads are you trying to install as channels - are they vc or wiiware games and where are they located on your SD card? There is nothing wrong with your Wii....... You probably dont have a cIOS installed on your Wii - as someone mentioned in one of the first posts, assuming your wads are in the correct place.

well if thats the case idk which ioses to install now the games are wiiware ssmbb mario kart nsmb and super mario galaxy and i have the wads in a folder named wad on the root of my sd card

Remove any Gamecube memory cards you may have from the Wii.

When you launch wad manager 1.5 does it ask you which IOS you wish to select i.e. 249? Can you run backup games?

Then clearly you have no cIOS installed if you cant run backup games. You could use zxzero's sticky guide to update to 4.2 to have a fully modded wii or get a hold of a cIOS installer and run via homebrew channel. The former is the best solution for you given your lack of knowledge on your Wii

i did have a cios installed though as i said b4 it says error ret -1 when its there and when i uninstall it i try to start a game and boom ret -4011
