Im currently attempting to play a backup of Super Mario Sluggers but it keeps popping up with the error "The Game disc could not be read. Refer to the Wii Operations Manual for details." I'm burning the games at 3x speed on Fujifilm DVD+Rs with ImgBurn. Any advice at how to fix this. I've tried both Fujifilm DVD+Rs and Memorex DVD-Rs and the same problem. Should I try different speed like 2x or Max? Or is there a specific type of DVD that works?

first you need to connect your wii to your pc via usb, download a game. Put a blank dvd-r disc into your wii, then the wii will ask "Install Game Burner On PC?" YOu click yes. Then it will load GAmeBurn.exe and it will burn it. You drag the iso file into the program and it burns via the wii. Then it will load. YEAH! YOUR DONE!

Its a case of finding discs your particular wii can read well. As Tichinde925 said Taiyo Yuden and verbatim are the 2 main ones people have success with. Personally i've had best results with Ritek G05's.
