Homebrew "Error: Payload_Stage1.bin..."

I have an o3DSXL downgraded to 2.1.
I am trying to install A9lh using SafeA9LHInstaller through the browser application. Whenever I press SELECT to do the full install, this message appears.
"Error: payload_stage1.bin doesn't exist or exceeds max size"
I have quadruple-checked to see if I have done everything right. I have made sure everything is in the right spot.
I have tried all of the available payloads, but nothing has worked. I've been at this for 2 days now, troubleshooting to see if it can work.
For reference, I am using 3ds.guide. I would really appreciate if somebody helped me.

I have reached a solution! In the list of things you downloaded, you should have come across a download called "Release.7z". Open that file, copy the payload_stage1.bin and payload_stage2.bin files into your A9lh folder, (if you already have other payload files in there, replace them with these) and eject your sd card. You should be good to go!

You must have missed the part of the guide where it tells you to do that.
