Hi guys. I write to you because I have a problem, my console on a PS3 Fat with firmware 4.82 (CFW 4.82 Ferrox Cobra), I have unlocked it and when I try to install multiman, the screen is black and I have to force the console to turn off. Does anyone else happen to you?

Well, guys, I solved the problem. For those who have a bad BD reader, they must install a non-BD CFW and this solves the problem of the black screen when launching the Multiman.
The ideal is to install a CFW as soon as the console is released.

That didnt work for me, I have a blueray drive it doesnt read games but does work like it take sin the disc and tries to rea dit and fails. So I installed rebug 4.82.1 LE no bluray drive cfw thgrough recovery mode and nothing, every homebrew I try to run gives me a black screen.

Yeah, I've had this same problem - multiman and manaGunz both go to a black screen when I try to open them. The issue was the Blu ray drive not working. I verified this by putting a disc in the drive. It did accept it, but the disc didn't show up on the XMB. Luckily I was able to solve the problem by opening up the ps3 and reseating the ribbon cable for the Blu ray drive. I think it had gotten messed up during reassembly after putting new thermal paste on the CPU and GPU.
After getting the Blu ray drive working, I have no issues opening multiman or manaGunz. Hope this helps someone else!
