yes because it sounded good xd

It is, if you are developing 3DS homebrew as it gives you extra information when an app or game crashes as opposed to just "an error has occurred". However the tradeoff is that you can't access the eshop if "Use developer UNITINFO" is enabled.

the "special dev eshop thing"?
It was some other cia that a friend sent me. Dunno what it was, the name was just a jumble of letters. Nothing showed up when I tried to install it, he said it was dev related.

I'm having the same error but I never enabled "Use developer UNITINFO"
I'm running 10.7 Luma3DS emuNAND on o3DS
Another issue is that it seems random is that installed CIAs stop working after I've created save data. Strange. Probably 100% unrelated.

How do I disable the option?
If you have Luma3DS v7.0.5 or older (arm9loaderhax), update your custom firmware with the guide, A9LH to B9S.
  1. Use Luma3DS v9.1 and replace the sdmc:/boot.firm.
  2. Turn on the 3DS and hold (Select) to access Luma3DS v9.1 configuration.
  3. Deselect ( ) Set developer UNITINFO.
  4. Boot to HOME Menu and correct the time & date.
If you're still getting the Error Code: 022-2452, after doing the above and having spent a day using the 3DS.

5. Backup all your saves + extdata with Checkpoint or JKSM.
6. Dump all your titles as *.cia files with GodMode9.
From this subreddit thread:
After getting the 022-2452 error, @rpgwaiter posts a followup YouTube video, FIXED: Console Banned 3DS. where he reformatted his 3DS.

7. HOME Menu → System Settings → Other Settings → Format System Memory.
8. Re-link or sign back in with your NNID account. Attempt access to Nintendo eShop.
9. If all goes well, reinstall all your titles with FBI and restore the saves + extdata with manager of choice.

No, that's what the "Disable ARM11 exception handlers" toggles, the developer UNITINFO option has nothing to do with it
