[EDIT] Guess I'll just get it modchipped, does anyone do Switch Lite modchipping in the region of Montreal / Canada? Thanks!

Hi guys!

Long time lurker, first time poster.
I have this Switch Lite I got used, knowing it had a broken game cart slot.

Whenever a game cartridge is inserted, it crashes with error 2002-2639.
It's stock, so no modchip / CFW installed.

I tried opening it up and replacing the cart slot but to no success.
I cleaned the board with isopropyl alcohol and spotted no corrosion.
There's also no update available (in case of game slot version mismatch).

Headphone jack works, SD card slot as well, it's just the cart slot.

I don't mind using it as a digital only console, I just want to know if anyone has any pointers as to what might be wrong.

Thanks!

Thought maybe FW 15.0.1 would fix you but looks like you covered all the bases. If swapping it out and trying different carts didn’t help…well. I think it’s good you’ve already prepared mentally…

Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks for trying! I assume something got knocked away or out of place on the board because it seems it might have been dropped. If no one else has any idea it’s fine; I don’t have the micro soldering knowledge to fix it, haha
