Followed plailect's DSiWare downgrade guide using 2 systems, waited a week and am now trying to restore my friend's NNID to the source 3DS but keep encountering error 014-0016 when it gets to step 3 ('Built-in Software') of the transfer process. I have tried running the transfer without SD cards, I have also removed all software (HB Loader etc) but I keep encountering the same error. Does anyone know what's causing it and how I can get past it?
*EDIT* Solved: Formatting the source (original) system (the one I was trying to return the NNID to) stopped error 014-0016 appearing for me.
