Hacking Error #004 when selecting SD card on a 4.3 wii

Hi. Its been a long while since I;ve softmodded a wii. I soft modded my brother n laws 4.3.
Everything boots up fine from the USB loader however Im getting a error #004 when selecting the SD card channel from the storage or menu screen.
I know I;m missing something simply any help would be much appreciated. I;ve had no luck with the search function. Thanks in advance
