I'll have to look into it later. The beta support was built for davebaol and modmii looks where he was hosting the d2x beta's. If d2x was forked into a different repository it won't get picked up by modmii. I may have mirrored d2x myself when Google code went under, and if so it might be a simple matter of updating my svn, which could update the d2x beta's available without requiring a modmii update

Thank you.:)

That would make ModMii even more indispensable and valuable than it already is.

Start from the beginning, but this time use ModMii instead of some inferior "failtube" guide.

See my signature or stickies for links to ModMii

Good Argument.:yay:

By the Way I have noticed I can not choose any Revision (21010 / 65535 / 21)
Is this correct ?

Thank you.:)

Hello,

@ XFlak :

I did not test for the revision (21010/65535/21) with Modmii. But it would be nice if modmii chooses revision 21010 for cios d2x v10 beta52 or 21008 for cios d2x version 8 final.

That is how modmii already operates

Why would that matter?
I figure the system still reads info from the drive even when you're using a USB loader because that only redirects disc access. It's not full drive emulation. So if the system can't read stuff like the drive ID, it might not even try to load the game. I'm guessing that's what he means.
neek2o+DI (emuNAND) does have full drive emulation AFAIK, maybe that will work better for you.

I confirmed that the latest d2x beta's are available and accessible from ModMii's download page 4 when typing "Beta", same goes for the advanced downloads page

I'm re-reading your message and I think I may have originally misinterpreted it. You can create any custom cIOS you want from ModMii Classic's advanced downloads page. Type "Beta" to change the version of d2x, then select which IOS or cIOS you want to modify. You can change slot numbers and version numbers for all. If you're modifying a standard IOS you also have the option of adding some patches. Then when you're all done if you want you can save the download queue for later and even share it with other ModMii users so you can basically send them a specific\custom cIOS of your design by just sending them a queue and no actual files from any 3rd parties have crossed hands

I have looked again and unfortunately I can not found the "Option" to change for Example

d2x-v10-beta52

to

rev 21 d2x-v10-beta52
or
rev 21010 d2x-v10beta52
or
rev 65535 d2x-v10beta52

I am sorry,If a was unclear and imprecise with my Statement.:(

Thank you.:)

From modmii classic's main menu, enter "A", then enter "Beta", then choose which d2x version you want. Then when you're back to the advanced downloads menu enter "24957" (for example) and it will prompt you for new slot and version numbers. You can keep adding custom ios's to your queue and either download right away or save the queue to use later and/or share

Hello,

I found out how to run for CIOS d2x with Modmii, either version 65535 or 21010 or 21008, it took me a long time to figure out .but I got there.:yaywii:

but it's a little complex for some people

so we will tell them or propose on the forum, the ways to do it with Modmii.:yayu:
