Hacking Error 002# with Gamma Fix

The backup launcher keeps showing the blue screen with a 002# Error on it. Is my firmware outdated? It's 3.3U. Or is it something else? The backup I'm trying to work is Monster Hunter Tri demo which is Japanese. Help?
