Is there any problem if i use faketik and then restore saves? 'Cause thats what i did

Okay, so i uninstall every homebrew app that i had and install them all from cias proper_<ID0>. Everything but a FBI cia that gave me error, so i pick one from my pc and install it. Then i did the faketik thing and then restore saves, but i still got the same error.

The games that weren't reinstall are these:
  • 00040000000EC300: The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (USA)
  • 00040000000F8000: Inazuma Eleven 3: Team Ogre Attacks! (EUR)
  • 0004000000136D00: Inazuma Eleven GO Chrono Stone: Thunderflash (EUR)
  • 00040000001D6700: YO-KAI WATCH 3 (USA)
Again, take a look in the collection of dumped CIAs found at this folder.
  • sdmc:/gm9/out/cias proper_<ID0>
  • <ID0> is console unique 32-characters.
(2b) Restore Saves won't add back saves for games that aren't in the Nintendo 3DS folder.

Edit 1 - You use faketik after (2b) Restore Saves. Those steps in ~ INSTRUCTIONS ~ are done in the order they're given.

Edit 2 - If your cias proper_<ID0> folder don't have those games, you will need to supply replacement CIAs from either your backup collection from your computer, redownload them from Nintendo eShop, or pirate new copies from the Internet.

Ah shit. My bad. Can you delete that save_restore_error.txt and rerun (2b) Restore Saves to triple check that all saves were successfully restored? The way the script reports there's an error is if it finds that specific text file. Rerunning (2b) doesn't remove the old report, so it thinks it found a problem.

Edit - Once you get a successful save restore with no problems,

If you still see blank icons on HOME Menu, try this in Cthulhu.
  • Shared icon cache management. → Clear shared icon cache.
  • HOME Menu icon cache management. → Clear HOME Menu icon cache.

You can delete the HOME Menu icon cache and shared icon cache once per a session. The next time the 3DS turns off and reboots should build a new set of these.

If the blank icons still don't go away, try taking a look in:
  • FBI → Titles
  • System Settings → Data Management → [ Nintendo 3DS | DSiWare ]
, to try to pinpoint which ones these are. Because of the rebuilt SD card's (import.db & title.db), your 3DS should not crash this time around.

Also check against system titles list and previously commonly factory installed 3rd party titles that should or could be on HOME Menu.

  1. GodMode9 → CTRTransfer (Type D9) → DSiWare CIAs & Saves → Backup CIAs & Saves
  2. FBI → SD/gm9/out<date>_<serial>_dsiware_000<current directory> → Install all CIAs
  3. GodMode9 → CTRTransfer (Type D9) → DSiWare CIAs & Saves → Restore Saves

4. System Settings → Data Management → DSiWare → <Blank Title #1> → Delete
5. ... <Blank Title #2> → Delete
Edit 1 - No wonder why you have blank icons. You didn't complete the rest of the CTRTransfer (Type D9) - CTRTransfer. You should have read and followed the Instructions.

6. FBI → SD/gm9/out<date>_AW10123763_dsiware_000<current directory> → Install all CIAs
7. GodMode9 → CTRTransfer (Type D9) → DSiWare CIAs & Saves → Restore Saves
Edit 2 - Lest you forget the other files...

8. FBI → SD/gm9/out<date>_<serial>_system tickets_(USA)_000<current directory> → Install all tickets
Edit 3 - Oh, you did try to install the DSiWare CIAs.
.
.
update 2: when i was trying to solve this by myself, my 2ds never booted and there was a message that said "Unable to mount CTRNAND" so i found the thread of NoSnake221 about that same error, and i follow the steps very precisely, but, at the point when you have to install the dsiware cias, my 2ds freeze and that's it. idk if there is some hope to my console, so i wont move anything until someone helps me.
.
.

Edit 4 - Do you still have the backed up DSiWare CIAs that were created from the CTRTransfer?

Yes, those are the ones. Install fresh CIAs by updating to the latest TWiLight Menu++ (release page).

Follow Robz8's Instructions for Set-up (CFW 3DS/2DS users, Manual method)

-or-
with the Universal-Updater, see the Set-up (CFW 3DS/2DS users, via Universal-Updater).

***

If you were using TWiLight Menu++ on an SD card that is 64 GB or bigger, you may want to see these.

On a kinda related note, I was supposed to help out tracking down that bug but can't find my missing hard drive wtih enough free space that's needed to backup my 128 GB card. Can't buy another hard drive due to this damn Coronavirus.

Do i really have to install TwilightMenu? I mean, i dont even play DS games anymore, at the beginning of course i did, but rn now there is no DS game that i actually like, only Inazuma Eleven 3 but there is a 3ds version and the Pokémon Platinum but 4th generation games doesnt longer boot on this TwilightMenu version.

Hope you find your hard drive

If you wish to uninstall TWiLight Menu++, then that means of course you don't have install those CIAs. You should be able to erase the blank icons on HOME Menu by following steps 4–5 in post #53. You can also delete them using FBI.
  • FBI → Titles Purple blank title #1Delete Title And Ticket
  • ... Purple blank title #2Delete Title And Ticket
  • DSiWare titles are found at the way bottom.
  • :!: DO NOT DELETE TWL system titles: DS Download Play , Nintendo DSi™ , 0004800F484E4841 , 0004800F484E4C41

Hope you find your hard drive
Thanks.

There is a problem using TWLiMenu++ on 64 GB or bigger SD cards. The exact cause of the bug is not known. See those listed threads.

I already delete the blank icons.

So that's it? My 3ds shouldn't crash anymore?

Update:Shit, i don't have a 64gb SD, i have a 32gb, so there should be no problem with TWiLight Menu++, right?

32 GB and smaller cards have not been reported to be affected by this bug. However, if you're concerned about TWiLight Menu++ but would still like to use it, I suggest putting TWiLight Menu++ and all the DS games on a separate SD card until the bug is resolved.

Edit - Yup, that should be it. Blank icons should disappear now *after deleting/uninstalling them in Data Management or FBI. Crashes should go away since you checked the SD card and refreshed the Nintendo 3DS folder. Don't forget to install the system tickets.
