After finding out borders are supported i've been trying to look for some, mainly Gameboy player one but no luck, i know screen resolution matters
so it should be known my display is 1080p, i'm using a wii to hdmi converter, it'd be much appreciated if i could be pointed in the right direction to one
already made or instructions on how to create one. thanks in advance (gameboy advance)

i figured it out. it's on WII and im not talking about mGBA im talking about enhanced mGBA this one has the border in the extras package and this one is a build for WII im pretty sure the latter link contains the build for Gamecube in the main download.

- Download the extras package from the first link and place the mGBA folder that's inside onto the root of your SD (ignore everything but the mGBA folder inside the extras package as they contain the gameboy player border)

- inside the second link download the latest Ehanced mGBA build, inside you should see 3 folders but the ones we want are the
mGBA and the apps folders, place both on the root on your SD, the mGBA one should merge with the one already present.

-place your SD back into the wii, boot up the homebrew menu and you should see Ehanced mGBA there upon booting up
a game you should have a GBP border that works on a 1080p display.

Performance of the app overall:
i found it to be flawless in my time playing i had quite a bit of time on it becuase i was using a capture card to stream a few games on discord to a friend the ones i tested were:

- Astro Boy Omega Factor
- Pokemon Sapphire
- Pokemon Leaf Green
- Sonic Advanced 2
- Megaman Battle Network 6 Cybeast Gregar
- The Legend of Zelda The Minish Cap

( As for base mGBA on WII i can't say for sure how good it is regardless of version, but i would definetly reccomend this fork to anyone.)
hope this helps you out and anyone else that happens to stumble upon this!
