English patch not working anymore

I had an English patch for Rocket Slime 3 that has worked for over 50 hours of gameplay. Just recently it's stopped working. The game is only playable in Japanese.

Any ideas?

Also, I hacked a Japanese 3ds recently and installed and English interface. I installed the English patch for Rocket Slime and it doesn't work as well.

Did the patch stop working entirely, or only past the point you reached in-game?

The patch stopped working entirely. even on the home screen of the 3ds the it's not working for the game.

Regarding the other 3ds I may have done it wrong but I did it 3 different times and I'm not a complete dummy when it comes to this!

How can you expect anyone to suggest what you might be doing wrong without knowing exactly what you did?

Understood. I just wondered if anyone else had this problem and had inspiration for me. I will post exactly what I did to see if there is anything you could help with. Thanks
