just something i'm wondering about. if you want to play a game in English you usually have two versions to choose from, US and European (and sometimes the Japanese version has an English option as well). but occasionally there are differences between the versions: whichever one is released later might have bugs fixed, a revised script or features added ... or it might be censored or have new bugs introduced in the process of adding or removing languages.
a few examples i can think of:
Mr Driller Drill Spirits - Euro version has an extra mode, level and character missing from the US
Pokemon Platinum - Euro ver fixes at least one bug from the US (levels not displayed on GTS) but slot machine mini-game is removed
Harvest Moon DS - bugs fixed in Euro verion, but two casino mini games and GBA cart support removed, and i think the bugs are fixed in the US v1.1 anyway
Break/Brick 'em All - US version has slightly cleaned up (and IMO blander) text. Euro is a bit "engrishy" at times but i prefer it.
LifeSigns - Euro version has a better font and a less hideous logo on the top screen, and possibly revised script
Dementia - Euro ver improves save system and i think some other stuff.
so yeah. anyone know of any more games where this is the case?
