Homebrew Enable Sig Patch without Homebrew?

Hi. I'm writing this as some sort of follow-up to a thread I posted some months ago: https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-sd-...-there-another-way-to-access-homebrew.501181/
As a quick rundown, I only intend to use my Wii U to play smash 4. Years ago, I downloaded DLC content that I hadn't purchased through a wup installer, so every time I boot up the game I'm required to do it through a custom firmware, I used to use mocha specifically. There is no way to erase that downloaded content, and if I boot up the game through the main menu, it doesn't let me start it up. This would be fine if it weren't for the fact that my SD card slot broke, so I have no access to homebrew at all, meaning I can't play smash on this Wii U anymore.

I've not played the game since this happened, but the current smash ultimate has made me really want to play smash 4 again, so I looked into this a bit more. In the previous thread, people told me there could be a way to boot up mocha directly from the internet browser, but that nobody had uploaded it since it'd be too big and impractical. I don't believe this has been done, but I was wondering if there could be a way to, through the browser, enable the sig patch, since that would allow me to launch smash from the menu again. Naturally, without the use of an SD card at all.

And to also see if anything new that has been released lately could aid me with this. I do have haxchi, however this being my button configuration for when it launches means it's effectively useless: http://prntscr.com/j7i3d3

Of course, the ideal option is to fix the actual problem (SD slot) instead of taking limited workarounds!

https://github.com/rw-r-r-0644/HBAS-Portable may be able to run homebrew directly from the browser (if Mocha is too big, there's always sigpatch2sysmenu), however from the description it's not clear if it requires an SD in the first place, or that's just for the official use of running the wiiubru appstore...

Fixing the SD card slot was what I tried first, however it seems futile as not even nintendo officially fixes them and all I tried did nothing.
I'm not sure how I'm supposed to use the contents of that github though. Given it says no PC is needed I'd assume no SD card is either, unless it transfers files onto the SD card through the Wii U, but I can't find any other instructions.

It's source code for a browser exploit that downloads an ELF file (see https://github.com/rw-r-r-0644/HBAS...368d6a1f24445db7bd3/sd_loader/src/entry.c#L76 ) and runs it, you/someone else compiling it for you are supposed to change that URL to another homebrew's (such as sigpatch2sysmenu), compile the exploit, and host it on some webserver

Maybe the usual known (wiiubru) will do it if you ask nicely? Seems like an useful thing to launch directly anyway!

Just buy a new Wii U.
