I have been trying for hours to get these to work. Emunand produces a red flash followed by a black screen another red flash and then back into the homebrew launcher. While Reinand either shows a red screen and freezes. or flashes red then shuts down my n3ds. Am I just doing something wrong? I'm running firmware 9.2.0. Any help would be great. Thank you.
Have you got all the slot keys and the right files? Did your downgrade (if you did it) went well?
Yeah, this sounds like it could be a faulty downgrade... Try running PlaiSysUpdater again and see if it flashes any files again!
If it does, you'll want to re-format another emunand (back up your sd files again if you deleted them off your computer)

I am the one that downgraded it, Although I didn't use PlaiSysUpdater. I don't remember the one that I actually used. I don't think any files flashed it just loaded up to the menu. Should I just try to Re-downgrade?

I believe so. I'm not entirely sure. I've accessed homebrew before, but I've never messed with anything like this so I don't entirely know what I'm doing. Just trying to follow along with some youtube vids.

Omg. Thank you so much. I'm guessing it was a bad downgrade then. It finished, I tried running emunand and after a quick red flash loaded right up.
Ok ive got all of the emunand figured out but now ReiNand still doesn't work. With the newest virsion it shows the back ground image then just crashes. I tried v.2.1 it said press start to boot then crashes.
See if you have all the needed files on your sd card. If not, download them and put them on. If yes, maybe try to boot again about 5 times in a row. Menuhax has some pretty bad boot rates at times (I had to turn my 3ds off and on again 4 times in a row in order to get to my Emunand yesterday!) and if all else fails you can try to use a different CFW such as Luma3DS (most popular nowadays), Cakes or even the all new and updated Rxtools.
I just got it all working. I had L-trigger set to send me to sysNand. I did not realize that I also needed to hold the L-trigger upon booting Reinand. Thank you though. I got it all up and running now.

Best is to just set menuhax to autoboot instead of holding a button just in case you leave your 3ds for a month or so and you forget about it.
It is set so that I have to hold L to get to sysnand so that if someone was to play my ds they wont update my sysnand and screw up the cfw. I don't know if that is was you meant or not.
