Hello, thanks for clicking on this thread ,
Anyways , I really like the WiiU even though it didn't sell well the games are amazing , but if I want to buy it now I have to buy it Used from Ebay and stuff , that's not a problem for me but I just saw some reviews about games from the switch and I like the switch now as well.. And I can not choose between the two , and now my threads name : Emulators .. Yeah. You see where it's going , is there anyway to play wiiU games on the switch via Emulators ?? And other console games like Gamecube games or SNES games?

No. Wii U: never Others: maybe at some point

Well, the Wii U is more powerful than the PS3, and there's absolutely NO chance of ever seeing a PS3 emulator on the Switch, so... no.

Mann.. That's sad..

Yes, emulators are very likely, just not at the moment for Nintendo systems past Wii U
we may see a switch emulator for powerful pc's in a few years, emulators can take a while so it's hard to say when they will come!

You'll get a few more Wii U ports I'm sure. But emulation of Wii U titles? Hell no. Get yourself a Wii U if you can find one, once you hack it out, it can become your go-to Nintendo system for any and all Nintendo games except those that appears on the Switch, 3DS, and a handful of DS and N64 games. Else, you can play nearly every game that appeared on a Nintendo system on the Wii U from the NES, SNES, (most)N64, Gamecube, Wii, GB, GBC, GBA, (most)DS, and of course the Wii U itself (pretty sure there are Game & Watch and Virtual Boy emulators available as well if you want those games too). And thats not even taking into account all the Genesis, Master System, Game Gear, Neo Geo, TurboGrafx, Playstation, etc. games you could play on the system as well.

already been mentioned, no.

one is disc based, the other is cart based.

but had this argument already, and looking at how its ok now when its nintendo, if fans get their way nintendo will port even more of its old titles rather than make something new.

nintendo already have nvidia testing the CUBE out on their behalf, tho its not officially said we can all fill in the gaps, nvida with its same platform can test its ability, we all know if nintendo jumped to thsi straight away and it didnt work it would make them even more a joke.

it would annoy the shit out of me if the switch was to get more wii u ports and then charges for cube ports.... it annoys the crap out of me when a console lacks anything new and its main game support is old crap.

and yes the fanboys will argue "well i never had chance to play said games", well good for you, i did, i still own them, do i want another console thats seems to mainly only have these games again and not much of anything else..... nope.

nothing wrong with ports, i admit i own a few if its been a decent remaster and not a shitty direct port or in the case of the switch, shitty inferior and more expensive.

but anyway, why do people keep asking about can it run emulators etc when the console hasnt even been hacked.

its a pointless question like, can your 6month old baby do a 10k marathon!!!!

Emulation? No.
Porting? A lot.
You're right porting alot but I want Nintendo Land for Switch ut was my favourite game on the WiiU

When you thought it was info on emulators coming to the Switch but it’s just a speculation thread
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is now ruined
I'm sorry about that..

Yeah, it's a poorly formulated thread title.
I'm sorry

For the games you liked on the Wii U nintendo may bring ports of popular games, DK Tropical Freeze for example(they already remade the Mario Kart). The chances of a Wii U emulator are less than zero considering nintendo have already stated that its only possible to emulate their own virtual consoles up to the Wii.

Don't hold your breath on that. Maybe they'll make a brand new Nintendoland, but the original relied heavily on the Gamepad and asymmetrical gaming. Granted this is possible on the Switch if you have 2 physical Switchs, but this is not something Nintendo is going to put a heavy emphasis on. As it is, I believe there are only 2 titles that utilize this ability so far, neither of which made specifically by Nintendo. In the Namco Museum, you can play Pac Man vs. with 2 Switches, one Switch (the one that would be in handheld mode) will show only Pac Man and his screen, and the other Switch, likely set up on the TV, will allow for all the other ghost players to play with their limited view; and Rayman Legends lets you play the asymmetrical way that the Wii U did, where one Switch can be used in handheld mode as the touch-screen based character (I want to say his name was Murphy) while the other traditional platformers can traditionally play on the other Switch (again best set up on the TV if it's more than one playing this way) together.

Yea I hope it will get released for the Switch but you're right it's heavily based on the gamepad , I don't think it will come to the switch but if it will than it has to be a sequel or a remade specially for the Switch

*snip*
