There is no way to run GBA games on an M3i Zero, unless you use a slot 2 card on a DS or DSlite.
If you want to run GBA games on a DSi, go with a Supercard Two, otherwise you are SOL with GBA games for DSi

I have heard someone managed to make it work, but he didn't want to publicise his code. If I am right he's a member of GBAtemp.

but right now you best bet is a SC2

Either Supercard DSTWO or GBA SP and a GBA flash card. Both about the same price.
how are they about the same price?

last I checked decent gba flashcarts alone were about $50+

Well, if you are lucky enough to find it on ebay. I've seen it happen several times before, someone sells a GBA on ebay with a collection of games, and a flashcart is listed among those games. happens more than you would think.
