Elink Lite GBA Expansion Card

ElinkLite.png

The Elink Team has just recently developed a new GBA Expansion kit, the Elink Lite.
It is available for purchase already on some online websites.
The Elink Lite uses normal USB cables for connecting it to your PC for adding ROMs, and is available in 1GB. You must use the included software to do this (not drag 'n drop).
The Elink Lite fits flush into the Nintendo DS Lite.
The Elink Lite will also include two cases (black and white).

Also worth mentioning - the Elink Team recently re-designed their original Elink Flash Kit, and is very similar to the Elink Lite
(more information about that on the Elink website).

does it have built in memory? does it mean 1gbit or 1gb i know flashcarts make the memory space seem more bigger by using gbit. and can you use this for gba roms? if i see a uk supplier selling these i might pick one up i think if it's cheap that is. and does it come in different colours or only white atm?

02: All GBA and NDS platform support series mainframe (GBA limited size) i don't like the sound of that :S

07: Add direct function TXT FC GBC… supports gameboy colour games directly without emus?

edit: (from DX) 1G would generally make the product 256 megabytes (MB) thatss rubbish!
has no RAM on board (no ds internet browser) why did it say it had expansion?

It all depends on how well this card can handle GBA and gba saves without to much trouble.

- Can you flash GBA games from slot-1 to it?
- Does it backup saves to slot-1?

I know it has usb, but this come sin handy when you're on the road or holiday with no access to a laptop/pc

But anyway, i ordered 1 from DX, just cause i'm curious how it performs

From what I read from the reviews on their main page:

These have real-time saves and real-time cheats and and they are now developing real-time guides for it. Although, they are only flashable via USB cable, it seems.

Why not for DS Phat!?

Err, there is one. I have that one in front of me, as well.

QUOTE(xJonny @ Mar 22 2008, 12:08 PM) I wonder how good these are.

Any reviews on them?

They're great, cheap NOR flash cards that play all GBA games with no slowdown. No RTC though.

...because with all the money you save not buying the actual games, you should already have bought a DS Lite.
