Had you ever heard of "The Elevator Ritual"?
Or how to get to another world(afterlife ancient, mythical realm of Hell) using an elevator.

Players: 1

Requirements: 1 building with 10 floors and an elevator. All three of these requirements must be met for the game to work.

Instruction:

1. Select a building and then go to the first floor. Don't start until no one is around.
2. Press the fourth floor button.
3. When you're on the fourth floor, don't go out. Stay in the elevator and press the second floor.
4. When you are on the second floor, stay in the elevator and press the sixth floor.
5. When you are on the sixth floor, stay in the elevator and press the second floor.
6. When you are on the second floor, stay in the elevator and press the tenth floor.
7. When you are on the tenth floor, stay in the elevator and press the fifth floor.
8. When you get to the fifth floor, a young woman will enter the elevator. Don't look at her, don't talk to her. It's not what it looks like.
9. Press the first floor. If the elevator starts going to the tenth floor instead of the first, you can continue. If the elevator goes to the first floor instead of the tenth, get out of it as soon as possible. Don't turn around, don't say anything.
10. If you are on the tenth floor, you can leave or stay in the elevator. If you decide to leave, the woman who entered the elevator on the fifth floor will ask you "Where are you going?". Don't answer her, don't look at her.
11. You'll know if you've made it to another world when the only person in it is you.

Anyone dare to play?
Enoch(grandfather of Moses or rather Noe)he went to Haven without before he was faster he reached afterlife before death caught him. I guess no actors who played/portrayed roles of James Bond/Agent 007 never ever considered such thing. I guess that would at least convince atheists/nihilists/people suffeing with depressia/satanists(posssibly stereotypes)(people like me) that there is life after death leaving this planet and galaxy to travel through space and cosmos. Not just only permament sleep paralysis(REM state)inside the grave as the end of everything.

If you say "Bloody Mary" five times on an elevator going up, will she materialize behind you, or in the elevator shaft at the spot where you spoke the last word?

I've actually heard of ""The Elevator Ritual"" before, and it's definitely an intriguing concept. It's said that if you end up being the only person in that world, then you've successfully made the transition. It sounds pretty spooky...

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.

Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
