My friend has pointed out an inconsistency in the Elebits series of games.
In Elebits (Wii), it's stated that it is unsafe to touch an Elebit with your bare hands due to some electric energy they give off, hence why the main character is using the capture gun to collect them.
However, the sequel seems to change this. In Elebits: The Adventures of Kai and Zero (NDS), the main character is seen touching an Elebit with his bare hands. I know the game takes place within various alternate universes, but the scene where the main character first touches the Elebit with his bare hands happens BEFORE he is sent to any alternate universe.
Why the change of laws in the Elebits world? What's the point?
