It depends.
Only the DSTwo and Acecard+ work with the special kind of SNES emulator, but that emu is limited to those specific cards afaik, all other R4 cards are limited with what they can run due to the emulator developed for those. It depends. I know, but i'm talking about the extended ram gba cartridges, like the one that comes with the opera browser for ds. I'm pretty sure SNEmulDS has an option to enable extended ram cartridges to work, no matter the flashcart you are using.Only the DSTwo and Acecard+ work with the special kind of SNES emulator, but that emu is limited to those specific cards afaik, all other R4 cards are limited with what they can run due to the emulator developed for those.
Maybe he has a DSi, if so he will need a DSTwo or AcekardI know, but i'm talking about the extended ram gba cartridges, like the one that comes with the opera browser for ds. I'm pretty sure SNEmulDS has an option to enable extended ram cartridges to work, no matter the flashcart you are using.
