    does the eject wii work on broken dvd drive

    Its the same as pressing the eject button.

    no, it doesn't, it is just for if you are to lazy to walk to the wii

    If the DVD drive won't eject with the press of a button, the eject wii app probably won't work.

    not necesseraly, the button mechanism could be broken, not the internal drive mechanism

    software use the internal drive mechanism, it's not *exactly* the same as presing the reset button, only the result is the same

    so the final answer should be:
    no it doesnt fix a broken dvd drive
    but yes it does work around a broken eject button.
