Hi, I have PS5 with EDM-010 and the console has a strange problem for me. First time No power at all and no other voltages than 5V, only 5V so no UART access. I've replaced DA9065 and have boot sequence than but console turns on with a blue light then off. Replaced DA9065 again and again have a boot sequence, this time console starts and working but when I start a game it's just turns off. Afterd that I need to replace DA9065 again to have boot sequence ( I have 2 extra chips and just put every time some of the others - chip isn't faulty - just make some like reset). Then I connect UART and see some power managment errors and see something fot the Bluetooth so decide to replace the Wi-Fi/BT module. After that again haven't boot sequence so replace DA9065 again. Then console start and works normaly. I played some games without problems, over 10 times turing on and off - working just fine everything. After couple of days played Fifa about 40 mins and console turns off. Now dead again with no boot sequence and has only 5V, no other volages and replacing DA9065 isn't working. So no UART acces because SB not powered. My question - did the SB turning on the rest power managment chips for other voltages 3.3V, 2V, 1.8V ? Should I replace the SB ? I have no shorts.

What is mean the following codes?

Error Code: 80810001 = Power Seq Error
Power Sequence: 2186 = Read Titania PMIC Register
Thermal data: = SOC:FFFF ENV: FFFF

Error Code: 808B0027 = Flash Cont:Watch Dog Timer
Power Sequence: 2186 = Read Titania PMIC Register
Thermal data: = SOC:FFFF ENV: FFFF

You can access the UART codes direct by reading the NOR data.
Open the NOR dump with Danny's PS5 NOR Decoder (https://github.com/apewalkers/PS5_NOR_Decode) and check the results.

If the SB pmic chip is continous failing and needs replacing ever time, I would check if the input side is delivering constant and clean 5V and if the readings at the chip itself are fine.

The error 80810001 means that there is an issue in the sequence the subsystems are checked. The sequenced stopped at 2186 = Reading Titania (SSD controller) PMIC (DA9081/RT5127) register. That could be the issue. But it also could be where the sequnece stands while another issue is crashing the system.

Thermal data for ENV and SOC FFFF are unusual, because the temperatur monitoring gets started very early.

I replaced the SB and console now working fine. Will test couple of days. If it stop again will replace DA9081. Thanks for your answer.
p.s. Now thinking about it, may have a problem with the 5V. But unfortunaly if it's a 5V problem it may be some capacitor somewhere... very hard to find

Last edited by cene,
I'm still having issues with this console. Replaced DA9081 and it worked for a couple of days now turn off itself during gameplay and not turning on. Still no power to the soutbridge. I have 5V but measuring with my voltmeter may be I can measuring with oscilloscope.

Does anyone know what the following errors mean?
Known Unknown E2E0061D - XDPE Phase PWM Controller Error VRM 6 Phases
Known Unknown E1200000 - XDPE Phase PWM Controller Error VRM 2 Phases
