Hacking Edge OS Update 1.41

EDGE OS v1.41 has been released. Changes include:

SlowMotion feature added, hold L + R + DOWN + B for 1 second in-game to toggle on and off
Updated the cheat code database file

And I always checking everyday but didn't notice the 1.41 on download section.

Just tried slow motion on Sonic Rush, and what can I say... it works

I tried SlowMo in Castlevania DOS: Works Perfect (music perfect/voice slowed down).

But on new super mario bros: No more screen scrolling and flickering/bad music : unplayable.

Very good update from Edge Team, i love their linker.

Now all we need is a real-time save option.

Anyone try the backlight adjustment cheat codes included in the download on the Edge card? Whenever I use it on the edge, the game freezes and I have to turn the system off and on again.

If I use the same cheat code database for the M3 Simply, the backlight adjustment works fine.

hey dont mean to bump an old topic
but
slow mo isnt really working for me
i downloaded 1.41
and replaced my old ones with these new folders
but
when i press l r down b, nothing happens..

any suggestions?

Did you hold it for the full 1 second, caught me out at first.

It worked fine for me in one of the blade games (think Dark Soul) though it could have been an earlier version.

edge is awesome becoz they have frequent updates 2 firmware and they dont have really small changs like being able 2 play 1 game, they have things that actually make playing the ds more fun.

They've also released firmwares in the past that only fixed compatibility.
