Hacking Edge 1 Game Only!!

Hi,

Not sure if it is just me being stupid!!
I have just bought the edge and copied 5 .nds files on there. I played the first game then tried the 2nd game and it just hangs. I deleted the .sav file for the first game from the sd card and tried again everything works fine. But again if i try another game same thing.
Do i need to delete the file or should I be able to play more games

No, you shouldn't have to delete the .sav file from one game in order to play another (each game should have its own .sav file).

Do you have a really, really tiny microSD card? Could you be running out of space on your microSD for saves?

Thanks for reply, I have a 1GB Micro SD card and there is only about 300Mb on there, so i dont think it is space.

hello what firmware version are you using for your edge ?
latest is v1.36 maybe that would help .

If you haven't already, put your games and save files in a folder (name it "games" or something) rather than on the root.

I have the latest version of the OS and have put all the games into a games folder, but still no joy!!

Once i have finsihed playing the first game, I am just rebooting the DS and then picking the next game. Is that right?
It just comes up with the loading screen and hangs, I think the longest i waited was about 5 minutes but nothing happened.

putting games in the root makes a MESS of things.

By the way you can just Hold Down ABXY L and R while in a game and it with soft reset right back to the last folder yo was in in.

Still no joy

I have tried everything, but still the only way to change to the next game is deleting the .sav file.

Should i take the thing back??
