Gaming EBA in OTO2 AR code found.

I tested it on my R4.
  • It enables the EBA button shown in the screenshots (on the "choose a difficulty" screen).
  • It appears that only the 3d models during the songs have been replaced. The dancing animation, sound effects/voices, 2d sprites, etc are still Ouendan's.
  • Just like in EBA, changing the difficulty will change the leader singer/cheerleader. So you'll be able to play as Agent Spin, Chieftain, and the Divas as well.
  • The EBA also replaces both of the Ouendan squads. During the final level, the 2nd character (normally the leader of the blue squad) is replaced with the Cat.
  • Saved replays will also save whichever squad you used. If you used EBA, they will be in the replay again when you play it from the options menu.
I can't test if this unlocks the Cat too, as I have no access to multiplayer where I'm at.

I started thinking, "If you get the EBA no matter which squad you use, what happens on the final song?" So I tried it. Instead of getting 2 of the same lead singer, you get the EBA lead singer and the cat.

The divas are playable in Magnificent Cheering mode. Also, the cat wears a wig of the rival Ouendan's leader in the last stage.

I wonder what the Ouendan would look like if they used the EBA's moves.

Pretty odd being that they would be holding invisible mics up to their mouths.

I did try an experiment once to swap the EBA and OTO1 models, but they seem to be stored in a file that contains a good chunk of the game's core data and code. And I couldn't find anyway to open that file.
I was able to swap a bunch of 2d graphics (such as the elite-o-meter and beat buttons) and some sound effects though.

1.How can i use the Ouendan team in EBA?
2.i coudent get the EBA team to work on my save file so i used the one that was up for download (someone put it in this thread...) how do i get it to work (i put it in the system file and nothing happend the cheat button didnt show up)

I don't recall if I replaced the "in-song" sound effects. I only remember replacing some of the menu sounds. But I'll mess with it and see what I can come up with.

Edit: Unless there's some way to replace files in the sdat file, it's not possible. I'm still looking in to it, but so far it looks like it's beyond what I can do.

    The switch emulators on pc rely on your CPU mostly, and they only use a single core, so GPU not as important as a good CPU. I don't use switch emulator, but many here do, and willing to help.
