Been reading around the formus, checking the reviews and guides.
Great amount of information for an upcoming newbie like myself.

Just wondered if there is just an easy answer,
if I were to just play DS backups on my DS. I would use something like DS-X.
Simple enough answer, now if I want to play just GBA games on the DS.
Is there an equally simple answer, somthing that would require only one flash cart. The same flas carts that are used to play backups of GBA games on the GBA...?
I guess what Im asking is that for playing ONLY GBA backups on the DS. Is all I need a GBA flash cart?

This information is probably covered in various topics, maybe I just suck at looking.
But for a simple answer.. I'll ask myself.

The reason I might be confused, is that I dont own a DS yet.

Yes you are confused, because a DS has 2 slots, top (slot 1) slot is for ds cards and bottom (slot 2) slot is a GBA cartridge slot. ANY gba cartridge will go into that slot....AKA any GBA flashcart.

yes, if you want to play ONLY gba games you only need a gba flashcard.
but there is no need to buy 2 flashcards if you want ds AND gba, there are carts that support both of them near perfect, like supercard and m3. well, at least m3

I actually did know there was 2 slots. (although I learned after coming here for the first time... *cough* )

But I get it now, fast reply, fast help. Awsome..

Just need to start searching around for prices and such then.
Thanks you two!
