Hey console repair hobbyists!
Has anybody out there come up with clever ways to test 3DS console family replacement parts before completely/nearly-completely installing them? Screens and digitizers jump to the top of my mind; if these don't work well, they are SUCH a pain to back out.
I saw some generic flex cable extenders for sale on AliExpress (search for "flex cable extension") and was struck by the idea that such a thing would be AMAZING for 3DS console repair. If I could just connect a replacement screen/speaker cable/camera to a sort of adapter, and connect that adapter to the motherboard, I wouldn't have to put back significant parts of the console back together just to test...
