Hi! We are Vladimir and Nikolai from PoRovoz studios. We’re developing Earth Liberation, a dynamic RTS game that can challenge the skills of seasoned gamers. It’s a throwback to RTS classics we all love. We took the parts we think made them fun: straightforward economy, rapid decision making, constant enemy pressure, and good air/ground balance. The game quickly got through Steam Greenlight (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=779462497), and we’re preparing an Early Access release for December 15.

But even before the Early Access launch you can try out our game! We’ve prepared a demo version and we would like to invite you play it and help us to liberate the Earth from the reptilian force!

Demo can be downloaded from:
Our website - https://steamcommunity.com/linkfilt...zstudios.com/demo/Earth_Liberation_161024.zip

IndieDB - http://www.indiedb.com/games/earthliberation/downloads/earth-liberation-demo

Itch.io - https://steamcommunity.com/linkfilter/?url=https://porovozstudios.itch.io/earthliberation

We hope you enjoy it, and we’re looking forward to your feedback. We’ll keep you updated about our progress and the upcoming Early Access.

The Steam Early Access launch is slated for December 15, but you can see the earlier demo version of the game - the same you can download from the links in the opening post - presented on YouTube by MasterofRoflness. Check it out!

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
