Every single person so far has sounded and acted like someone is holding a gun to their head and is forcing them to speak.

Head in the clouds, I'd love to hear news on a new Blitz game, Skate 4, Sim City coming to the Switch, Simpsons Hit and Run 2, and a new Peggle game. All ideally without awful predatory microtransaction bullshit. But, I'm no fool, I know none of that is on the table here. EA was once so great, now they're just so terrible.

Simpsons Hit and Run was made by Vivendi Games not EA lol.

Yes, but EA owns the Simpsons video game license now. Just as EA didn't originally own the Blitz franchise but do now as well.

AFAIK EA has the rights to making Simpsons games, though, so they might have a say in a remaster existing.

Wouldn't that be Activision as they now own Vivendi Games.

No, any Simpsons game that comes out now will have to be under EA, unless they lose the license at some point. They could hire Vivendi Games to make a sequel and then be the publisher of it, but it would still be something to reveal in an EA event like this.

Think of it like Star Wars Battlefront, the OG titles were originally developed by Pandemic Studios during the Xbox/PS2/Gamecube era, then years later, EA obtained the Star Wars video game license, and all Star Wars Battlefront games have been developed by EA Dice since then.

Apex Legends is great, not something I'd play on Switch though. At least it sounds like they're committed to bringing a lot more titles to it.

Star Wars Squadrons. YES PLEASE AND THANK YOU. That is all.
