My Garden, EA's flora management simulator for 3DS, has been cancelled. EA announced the death of what was supposed to be a 3DS launch title during an event in New York City.

Though we currently don't have any explanation as to the reasons for the game's cancellation, it's not necessarily hard to guess: during a preview late last year, Joystiq described it as a "lifeless" game with a "jumpy framerate," "unresponsive controls" and "uncomfortable" 3D visuals.

I'm not too disappointed, but it did seem like an interesting title, visually at least.

It looked like a game for old ladies who are allergic to the sun and can't go outside to plant.

I'm glad it got cancelled.

One less shitty game for the 3DS.
I'm glad it's cancelled. It would have been interesting to see how this would have turned out, though.

the bad thing about this is that they wasted time and resources that could've been used on another game.

OBJECTION!

...I actually don't have one, I've just been playing Pheonix Wright and I wanted to say that. ^^"

Shitty game is cancelled = win.

And DryYoshi... Apollo Justice then?

Anyway, I was really looking forward to this sequel to Gardening Mama, the best game ever created...
It isn't a sequel to Gardening Mama.
Gardening Mama is published by Majesco while this would be published by EA.

This^. EA had this and Sims 3 as launch titles, while both IMO are dissapointing and the Sims 3 is just more of the same we had on iPhone, DS and home consoles...

Is that a true screenshot of what the game would have been? That is quite disappointing, as it does not appear to be taking the graphics to the boundaries of the system. If anything, I would have expected a game of this style to be cel shaded. It's no wonder why they cancelled it.
