So what do you think?
I think they claimed Halo 3 was going to be the last Halo game, the "final chapter" blah blah blah, and here we have Halo 4.
The teaser was epic.
And in the end there was that Halo planet.
In simple words...
Bungie had said that. I'm pretty sure that this isn't the work of Bungie.
I expect Microsoft showing a CG, saying that is Halo 4 and will come for the next console. Something like Sony at E32005 with the CG of Killzone.
It was Bungie that said Halo 3 was going to be their last one (Halo Reach was their last one though), but Bungie doesn't have anything to do with Halo 4. Microsoft bought the series years ago and is continuing on it.
And this time they said its:
'The dawn of a new trilogy'
Get ready for Halo 5 and 6.
Made by 343 Industries, pretty much a new chapter.
The answer is simple. IT PRINTS MONEY.
I'm excited. Halo is one of the few modern FPS games I enjoy, and they left us with that cliffhanger ending in Halo 3. I'm really looking forward to Halo 4, though since this Reach was Bungie's last game (so they say) I don't know how well this one will stand.
If it's gonna be all chaotic and shit, it looks much more interesting than the previous ones.
Mario and Zelda also print money, just saying .
On Topic: I am extremely excited for halo 4, huge halo fan from the beginning of the franchise and can't wait for it to come out.
I'm excited for this and can't wait to see what they have in store. If this becomes a Kinect title... I will be the biggest sad panda.
They haven't started milking it yet. If this isn't the last one, though, then they'll be milking it.
Yes, but nobody ever claimed a current Zelda title would be the "final chapter" or anything like that.
You don't have a point, nobody said Mario or Zelda were ending.
UPDATED with trailer!
Yes that was the old trilogy which was the "final chapter" and if you watched there press conference they said this is a new trilogy which starts with Halo 4.
I heard him say "the dawn of a new trilogy". I interpret this as a Halo 6. Making it a complete Star Wars saga.
But seriously, I thought The Halo series was over. By over, I mean they weren't going to release anymore because 3 was the final one.
Well they said Reach would be Bungie's last Halo, I don't really know why they added the cliffhanger ending and said that. Oh well, I can't wait.
