Gaming Dvd ripper

So my dad has like tons of DVDs and he wants to rip them and sell the physicals. Whats a good program to rip the DVD into a watchable movie file. I think he prefers .avi, but it doesn't matter.

Depends what you're playing back on...
I would recommend dvdfab to decrypt and Autogk to encode(custom size) in avi.
But you can keep full quality with Mpeg streamclip if you playback on A big usb harddrive and a wii...
