Hardware DVD reading speed

If i've got a DVD which is 2x
That i burnt into to 2x
Will it be possible to read it in 4x for example?

AFAIK you can't limit the speed at which a disc is read back at.
But in theory the slower you write it the faster it will read back because it is less likely to contain any errors.

The speed at which you burn something does not effect the speed at which is can be read. The burn speed only effects the time taken to burn the information onto the CD/DVD.

True, but at higher speeds burning errors are more likely to appear and burning errors makes it more difficult to read.

All needed information here: The only limits on read spead is the reading drive and quality of the read media!
