So I was downgrading and it crashed during. but it said i was on 9.2

Couldnt launch hombrew while holding L when turning on the system

so i launched via the QR code, went to sysupdater and pressed downgrade again.

it said it was sucessful, it rebooted, says im on 9.2

browser works fine... i can access system settings fine.

So I'm not sure if i've downgraded or on this frankenfirmware i've heard about.

Well, if you are unable to use minipasta, access gateway installer after multiple tries
(basically, all the content locked on higher firmware remained locked),
you're stuck and need to downgrade again.

USe safesysupdater to check that your files are correct (don't use any failed files),
then use the newest sysupdater to downgrade

It says all my files are fine and I DID use sysupdater to downgrade.. thats what i said...

Correct! If it just shows extra titles, you're good. You're free to delete those from sysnand if you want, although it doesn't hurt to keep them. If you get mismatched versions, you have an incomplete downgrade.

The first downgrade was not complete the second finished the job you dont need to check anything just setup CFW and count your blessings.

Also you might wanna make a Nand backup while you still can though most tuts have you do this anyways.

I think you missed out the front part, where I was telling you to test mini pasta, Gateway installer or the other CFW stuff.

If those work, you downgraded, if they didn't work, downgrade one more time.

For my N3DS LL,
After my first downgrade,
whenever I tried to setup, I kept getting thrown back to Homebrew Launcher, despite being shown that I'm on 9.1J.
I had a hunch that it was only a partial downgrade, so I downgraded a second time,
and this time it worked completely.

So to know if it downgraded successfully, try to set up other stuff,
and see if you experienced what I've experienced.

It's kind of a "once you do it, you'll know" situation.

OH sorry, I was posting to see if anyone else could make sense of it.

Download the latest zip file at https://github.com/svanheulen/downgrade_check/releases

Open it up, and place the 3ds folder on the root of your SD card.

Post the log file on pastebin or in a spoiler.
You might have an incomplete downgrade. Might.
