I don't see whats interesting about it, they made some dumps.........making them run on the system is a whole different problem.

Would be interesting if they find out someday how to play this games on windows ..since Microsoft said once that the Xbone system is based on windows itself..

Well, both the PS4 and XBOXONE use the same architecture as a modern computer.
So it'd be much easier to run PS4 and XBOXONE games on a computer as opposed to the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Yeah, I don't see how this is terribly surprising - both the PS4 and the Xbox One are using standard BluRay discs. As far as I know, we've seen 1:1 disc images for PS4 games pretty much the same week the system was released, I'd assume that Xbox One discs are in no way harder to rip. The only difference is that these are "scene rips", you still can't use them in any way.

The great majority of (if not all) consoles use slightly customized off-the-shelf components and mainstream "PC" equivalents can be found relatively easily. Early 360 games were demoed on a pair of Mac G5's for instance. As for the PS3, you could replicate the environment by buying a CELL PCI-E card if you really wanted to. Even consoles like the NES (CPU based on MOS 6502) or the SNES (CPU based on the WDC 65C816) have roots that can be traced back to home computers. The differences pop up when you consider the customized ALU's on the chip dies or dedicated hardware and both the Xbox One and the PS4 have those. The popular opinion that the Xbox One and the PS4 are "PC's" is a myth - they're no more "PC" than anything else released before them.

Yup ..as Foxi said..
The software part is actually much more relevant then the pieces inside the machine.. ..for emulation, Xbone having similarities to the Windows root could be a advantage for porting Xbone games to windows in the future (even kinect is kinda ready for windows)..
Hope the homebrew development gets there someday

The Xbox One is an odd one because the OS has three portions to it - there's the Windows kernel controlling apps, there's some version of Blade running the games and an overseer OS that controls switching between the two, or so I understood from the Xbox One keynote. I guess we we'll learn more once hackers bite into the system, but it definitely "sounds" like a complex setup.

I don't see how the game boxes/disks can be PROOF to a dump. They just prove that they bought the game. :D

Had a talk with a nukenet about this.
Strictly speaking, there aren't any guidelines for them to follow. There are no XBOXONE rules, so technically they don't have to follow any certain guidelines (though they're usually required to follow the older generation rules until new ones are written).

Personally, I'd nuke the ones with proof for insufficient.proof_missing.group.tag but "meh".

It would be strange if there was an exploit capable of backup loading and not scene dumps:P
