Can a mod please lock this thread as it has devolved into a NGP vs 3DS discussion. There's also no merit in the topic unless the developer decides to support it anyways and the speculation is just bringing out the stupid in people.

Some guy said that the 3DS flashcard is underway and that it won't take too long. What does this means? Also, i think the DSLinux Source is avaliable. Someone recompile and release it being DSi mode.People instead of being so negative "No! It will take years!" CHILL.. maybe, maybe not.. there is lots of interest. Though Nintendo might of decreased that interest since the games are like cheap.![]()

We're not being negative we're being realistic. The current DSi hack is a variant of a save game hack that was released over 1 year ago. The only other viable hack was using a save game hack on Sudoku that's now been pulled from the store. Considering how difficult it has been to even get DSi mode working, it will take significant time before there's even a possibility of a 3DS hack. Of course we can 'hold out hope' something is coming next week, but that would be foolish.
Any rumors of a 3DS mode flashcart have to be taken at this point to be outright lies, simply due to the lack of time with the device, as well as the prior history of the difficulty of penetrating the device that doesn't require exposing the guts of the system.
