Hacking DSTWO SDK will be released

I'm just hoping someone makes a video playback homebrew that can at least play divx/avi files and if possible play more video files such as .mp4, flv, rm, etc...

Hm, they DID say something about wanting to do a Neo Geo emulator, so that's a possibility for the future. I'd personally love a CPS-2 emulator, or some other arcade emulators.

Wow. Great argument. Did you ever think of the fact Linux distro's are open source? That everyone can make whatever they like for it? And that not everything can be perfect, like you want it to?

I understand this, but the flash plugin that Adobe supplies is very subpar.
Btw, I like linux. I like the opensource-ness of it. That is why I use it.

Hey, just thought I would give a heads up to any one the does not know. If you are going to be developing for the DSTWO and are waiting for the SDK, it may be helpful to read the data sheet for the DSTWO's CPU actel ProASIC3. Here is the link for the complete data sheet and programming reference.

ProASIC3 is a FPGA micro-controller chip not a CPU, the ARM CPU is on the same side as the microSD. It has been grinded down and given a dot to determine the 1 pin orientation.
