Hacking DSTWO no longer boots

I'm usually pretty good with these cards but for some reason it won't boot since going on the eShop. I've updated the EOS to the latest and even tried putting the v.1.19 firmware on the MicroSD but it won't detect it when I load the DSTWO. Instead, it just says "An Error has occurred. Press and hold the power button..." etc.

I'm assuming I installed a Nintendo fw in the wrong order. Duh I guess. So what did I screw up and how badly am I screwed?

you have to do the blind update method now. rename the update file to dstwoupdateb.dat. power on and then wait a good 20 minutes, to make sure it flashed correctly.

I'm not sure if I understand what you mean. I downloaded the dstwoupdate.dat file and put it in the root directory with ds2boot.dat. I tried renaming ds2boot.dat to dstwoupdateb.dat as you said but it still gave me the same error when I started up the DSTWO.

Also, this thread seems similar, but everyone just tells him to use a DS Lite and I don't own one.

You need to get dstwoupdate and rename it, not dstwoboot.
