Homebrew DSTwo GBA Emulator Cheats Not Working

I downloaded the GBATemp cheat database for GBA games mainly to be able to use cheats in the emulator I got on my DSTwo card. However, I loaded the .cht file and enabled the code, but the code is not taking effect in the game. I am currently playing Pokemon Ruby and I have the matching ROM, but the cheats don't work. Is there any way to get them to work?

You have to convert .cht file for use with SC DS2. .cht files that are on gbatemp are for emulators, not for linkers.

The ones for Fire Emblem work, though. Maybe just the ones for the Pokemon games are outdated or bad?
